Swiggy Instamart Gatecrashes Samsung Galaxy S26 Launch to Highlight Instant Delivery Promise

Swiggy's Instamart has rolled out a campaign to highlight its partnership with Samsung for the launch of its Galaxy S26, to bring the phone to customers across metros.

Conceptualised by Moonshot, the campaign comprises an ad film.

The film opens at a high-tech launch event, where a representative unveils the Galaxy S26 Ultra, introduced as the world’s first AI phone with a privacy display. A massive screen behind him bursts into visuals of the device. Just as the excitement peaks, an Instamart delivery partner begins emerging from the crowd, with one stepping out from the audience and another swinging onto the stage in Bollywood style. Amid the confusion, a delivery partner politely apologises before swiftly taking the phone from the representative’s hand. Within seconds, the demo units are packed into Instamart delivery bags and rushed out. Cut to a home where a doorbell rings and a customer receives the same Galaxy S26 Ultra instantly at his doorstep, driving home the message: skip the queue and get the newly launched device instantly on Instamart.

What we think about it: The film lands its message clearly, using humour and a playful disruption of a typical tech launch to dramatise Instamart’s instant delivery promise. While the Bollywood-style stunt adds entertainment value, the product itself takes a backseat, with the gag doing more of the storytelling than the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Mayur Hola, head of brand, Swiggy, said, “At Instamart, we’ve always believed convenience should keep up with culture. The new Galaxy S26 Ultra is now seeing tremendous buzz. The idea was simple. What if you could get your Samsung phones the very moment they launch? This collaboration shows Instamart is able to deliver everything from essentials to marquee launches and premium experiences.”
